BUSINESS INSURANCE

Do I need Business Insurance you may ask yourself. It should be a question posed by anybody who has their own business or those who are looking to set up new businesses. Business Insurance is also known as Commercial Insurance.

A business is exposed to a variety of risks and a businessman with savvy will take the necessary steps to mitigate those risks. One valuable risk

manager is insurance.

Running a business without insurance exposes it to serious risks. Without insurance coverage, a single accident or lawsuit could clean you out overnight and put an end to your business financially.

What types of insurance do you need to make sure your business is financially secure?

  1. General liability: This insurance not only protects you if anyone is injured at your place of business, but it also covers any injuries that might be caused by a product or service which you sell.
  2. Umbrella liability: This insurance fills in any gaps left by all your other forms of insurance and ensures you won’t be stuck with a big bill.
  3. Property: As you wouldn’t think of going without a homeowner’s policy, you also need to insure your business property. This insurance is a must to protect your company’s assets. While it isn’t required by law, it’s always to limit your liability in the event of a natural disaster or other calamity. Without it, your business may not survive financially.
  4. Car insurance is also a vital component when investigating your business insurance needs.
